Smallville season 10 episode 4 was by far one of the most important episodes.  It showed Clark and Lois going to their 5 year high school reunion. There Brainiac 5 appears from the future (31st Century) and takes Clark on a visit to see his past, present and the future. Through that journey, Superman realizes that he still blames himself for the death of his adoptive father and that in the present he has been avoiding his friends. He also sees that the fears that he has for his future are completely baseless. Watch this episode, as it would show you the corrective steps that he takes from there. He supports Green Arrow in his struggle to reveal his true self to the world and also gives Lois the importance she deserved, and then later also admits that he loved her. This was an episode, surely worth a download.
