Smallville season begins after the few weeks of the icy collapse. In this arc, LuthorCorp appoints Tess as an investigator to check out more about Lex Luthor. Lex is completely out of the league, but this time Tess Mercer and Davis are there to stand at his place. Clark, once again, faces challenges from two powerful nemeses.

Tess’ sphinx-like personality simply affects the life of Clark and the people who are associated with them. Like always, Clark Kent unveils all mysteries one after the other like any ideal, iconic superhero. In this arc, the hometown takes backstage, while the adventures of Metropolis take centerstage. Clark encounters a mass of Diamond Comic characters, such as the Legion of Super-Heroes, Plastique, Winslow Schott, and many others. He gets this chance when he works with Daily Planet against Lois Lane. The proximity between the two grows stronger!

In addition to all this, Clark manages to maintain a balance between the reporter as well as superhero identities. Soon, he comes to know that apart from him, there is someone else, who is born out of kryptonic element. In the meanwhile, Ultimate Destroyer has been threatening the entire race of humans.
Oliver Queen finds himself in the most difficult phase of life. Ghosts of the past come back to haunt him, and Oliver starts doubting his superhero powers. Jimmy proposes to Chloe, but Davis Bloome’s friendship is dearer to her, though she soon comes to know of his clandestine secrets.

Kara Kent somehow comes back from the Phantom Zone, and moves out in search of the hidden city from krypton, Kandor. Lana Lang returns with a mission to steal Lex Luthor’s last lifeline. It becomes even more spectacular when Lex forces Lana to say goodbye to Clark. The rest of the arc seems even more intriguing and everything will be disclosed when you watch this season!
