Early Life and Career:

Born to American parents in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany in 1982, Allison Mack moved to the U.S. at the age of two. She developed interest in acting at a very early age. She did commercials for German Chocolate, and then, on her mother’s advice, started modeling. After a brief stint at modeling, Allison landed up with a small role in a TV movie. Thereafter, she appeared in many films, but her first major breakthrough performance was in the comedy TV series, Hiller and Diller. That was in 1997, eight years after Allison had first appeared in a film. Later, in 1998, she appeared in an episode of 7th heaven, which drew a lot of attention. But, the best was still to come. In 2001, she was offered the role of Chloe Sullivan in Smallville. The show went on to become a major hit, establishing Allison’s career in Hollywood. She remained in the show, throughout its run and garnered much critical acclaim.

Role in Smallville:

In Smallville, Allison is Chloe Sullivan, a friend to Clark Kent/Superman. Initially, she loves Clark, but never receives his attention in return. She is a journalist for most part of the series, and is always searching about Clark’s past. Later in the series, she is shown to have her own powers of healing others; she can reverse death! She marries Jimmy Olsen in season eight, but he dies while fighting Davis. In season nine, she is shown romantically linked with Oliver.
